Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Nota : Quick Notes (“we”, “us”) covering your use of the Nota : Quick Notes app and this website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. Your account

You sign in with Google, Apple, or an email address and password. Email accounts must verify the address before they can be used. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure. If you think someone else has accessed your account, email support@quantyr.co and we’ll help.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Nota : Quick Notes.

2. Your content

Your notes are yours. You keep all rights to anything you write, draw, import or place in them. We don’t hold a copy of your notes: they are stored on your device and, if you choose, in your own Google Drive. We use your account data only to run the Service.

You are responsible for what you put in your notes and what you export or share from them. Don’t use Nota : Quick Notes to store or distribute content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or could reasonably harm others.

3. Free plan and Pro subscription

The editor — ink, text, shapes and connectors, images, PDF import and export, handwriting recognition, folders — is free with no time limit.

Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks Google Drive backup and sync, and signatures (drawing or typing one, placing it on a page, and a library of up to three saved signatures on your account). Pro is offered monthly or yearly; both unlock the same features. The price for each is shown in the app and on this website before you pay.

• Payment is taken by Stripe, our payment provider, on the checkout page. We do not store your card details.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
• You can cancel at any time from Billing & Subscription in your profile. Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid for, then the Pro features lock again. Nothing you have already made is removed — notes, synced copies and placed signatures stay as they are.
• If a renewal payment fails, we will retry it and tell you in the app. Pro features may be paused until it succeeds.
• We may change the Pro price. A change applies from your next renewal, and we’ll tell you before it does.
• Refunds are handled case by case and in line with the consumer law that applies where you live. Contact support@quantyr.co.

4. Google Drive sync

Sync uses your own Google Drive under a permission that only covers files the app created. Your Drive storage, quota and Google’s terms apply to those files. A Nota account is bound to the first Google account whose Drive it syncs to; contact us if you need to move it. If Drive is disconnected or unreachable, notes keep working on the device and sync resumes when it can.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the Service.
• Use the Service to distribute spam, malware or unsolicited messages.
• Attempt to access another user’s data or disrupt our infrastructure.
• Use the Service in ways that violate applicable law.

6. Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features. When an update is required to keep syncing or to keep using the Service, the app will tell you and point you to the store. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control; the app keeps working offline with the notes on your device.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the profile screen. That immediately deletes the Nota Notes folder in your Drive (if connected), cancels your subscription, removes your account and saved signatures from our servers, and erases every note on that device. It cannot be undone.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any specific note will always be recoverable. Export or sync anything you can’t afford to lose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nota : Quick Notes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we’ll say so in the app or by email. Continuing to use Nota : Quick Notes after the changes take effect means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located there, unless mandatory local law says otherwise.
