Delete your account

Last updated September 12, 2026

This page explains how to delete your Nota : Quick Notes account (com.solutions.nota) and everything associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

From inside the app, in about thirty seconds.

  1. 1

    Open the You tab

Open Nota : Quick Notes and tap You in the bottom bar.

  2. 2

    Tap Delete account

Scroll to the bottom of the profile screen, below Sign out, and tap Delete account.

  3. 3

    Confirm

A dialog lists what will be removed. Tap Delete to continue, or dismiss it to cancel — nothing is touched until you confirm.

  4. 4

    Prove it's you

If you signed up with an email address, you’ll be asked for your password. If you signed in with Google or Apple, you’ll be asked to sign in with that provider again.

  5. 5

    Done

Deletion runs immediately and you are signed out. There is no waiting period and no recovery — see what is removed below.

Can’t get into the app?

If you have lost access to your device or cannot sign in, email support@quantyr.co from the address on your Nota : Quick Notes account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm your identity, delete the account and everything listed below, and reply when it is done — within 30 days of your request, and normally within a few business days.

What is deleted

All of the following is removed immediately, with no retention period:

  • Your account record on our servers — user ID, email address, display name and which sign-in provider you used.
  • Your sign-in identity in Firebase Authentication, including your password if you had one.
  • Your subscription and billing customer. An active Pro subscription is cancelled on the spot and will not renew.
  • Your saved signatures (up to three) held on our servers.
  • The Nota Notes folder in your Google Drive, if you had connected Drive — every synced note, folder, image and PDF page in it.
  • The record of which Google account your Drive was connected to.
  • Every note, folder, drawing, image, imported PDF and folder cover the app holds on the device you delete from, plus its local settings.

What is kept, and for how long

KeptWhy, and for how long
A deletion recordA tombstone row containing no personal data, so the deletion itself stays auditable. Kept indefinitely.
Payment records held by StripeOur payment provider retains invoices and transaction records for the period its own policy and applicable tax and anti-fraud law require. We do not control this period and never held your card number.
Server request logsOrdinary technical logs (time, endpoint, app version, IP address) roll over within 30 days and are then discarded.
Notes on other devicesDeletion erases the notes on the device you delete from. If you installed the app on another device and never connected Drive, the copies there are local files we cannot reach — delete the app on that device to remove them.

Deleting only your synced copy

If you want to stop syncing but keep your account, you don’t need to delete anything here. Disconnect Google Drive from the You tab: your notes stay on the device, and the Nota Notes folder stays in your Drive for you to keep or delete yourself. To end Pro without deleting your account, use Billing & Subscription → Manage.
